One does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and decay destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be." Matthew 6:19-21

St Paul's Steeple Bell
Here's a short 'insider's guide' video to St. Paul's steeple bell. Not many parishioners have observed how our bell is rung by hand, and even fewer folks have seen the bell itself in action. This video includes both. A BIG thank you to Roger Elauria (SP Class of 1996) & Jim Valencia (MOSP) for contributing videos, and Joe Heinen for putting it all together into a fabulous video.
Our Steeple Bell is solid bronze, 48" high, 52" diameter, and weighs in at 2,080 lbs. The bell is inscribed: Presented to St. Pauls Church by WF Wilson in loving memory of his wife Hannah, who departed this life July 19, 1906.
